Heather M. Collins Civil Rights Attorney SCOTUS opinion for LGBTQ Employees

Today was a big day in the employment law world. The Supreme Court decided in a 6-3 opinion that the prohibitions against workplace discrimination because of sex, as set forth in Title VII, apply to LGBT employees. We are thrilled by this ruling, and we have some pending litigation that will significantly and immediately impact grateful clients who now have some hope they can expect equal protection in the workplace.
