Class Action & Systemic Abuse Litigation
HMC Civil Rights is actively evaluating and, in select matters, pursuing class and collective actions involving systemic abuse and institutional misconduct. Our work in this area includes cases where patterns of behavior may violate federal and state civil rights laws, specifically, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Pay Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), among other statutes. We focus on situations where many people have been harmed by the same policies, practices, or failures, and where coordinated litigation can help expose the truth and drive meaningful change.
If you believe you or a group you are part of has been affected by widespread or repeated misconduct — particularly involving disability discrimination, trafficking‑related abuse, or other systemic rights violations — you can contact us to discuss whether a class, collective, or coordinated action may be appropriate.
