While at Belmont, Lucia was deeply involved in the law school community, serving as the Managing Editor of the Belmont Law Journal and the Community Outreach Director for the Women’s Legal Society. In addition to working as a clerk at HMC Civil Rights, she also interned with the U.S. Department of Labor and the Belmont Title IX Office, before returning to us as a full-time associate attorney. She is dedicated to advocating for victims of discrimination, sexual harassment, and assault. Lucia assists in all stages of a case, including intake screening, pre-litigation casework, pleadings, and briefing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, attending live music events, and hanging out with her partner and their two cats, Atticus and Nemo.
